1. DENTAL WATER LINES    return to contents list
On 18 February 2000, the TV newsmagazine 20/20 aired a segment on bacteria in dental water lines. The program did a good job of providing an overview of the problem, but, as expected for a program for a general audience, it did not cover technical information needed to solve the problem. For months HC Information Resources has been developing a document on controlling Legionella and other bacteria in dental water lines; we will let you know when it's available. To see a summary of the 20/20 show, go to http://abcnews.go.com/onair/2020/2020_000218_dirtywater_feature.html.

2. 5TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LEGIONELLA  return to contents list
The conference will be in Ulm, Germany from 26-29 September 2000. For more information, go to http://www.uni-ulm.de/legionella/

Legionella E-news is published by HC Information Resources Inc., Fallbrook, Calif., a company that offers publications on the control of Legionella and other bacteria."
